Our guide will walk with you and explain Harlem’s long and colorful past and point out notable sites of African-American cultural and historical importance, including locations that were indelible to the long march for civil rights. Our guide will also discuss the rapid gentrification occurring in Harlem today, and the importance of supporting local Mom and Pop shops so that Harlem keeps its significant and independent identity.
